VANGUARD: BEYOND THE HORIZON HOTEL MOBILE APP
Mobile app created for Vanguard, a hotel connected to the NASA Kennedy Space Center and Visitor Complex. App intended to be used during a guest's stay at the Vanguard Hotel.
Vanguard was created in a multidisciplinary group-based studio. Our group contained three graphic designers, three interior designers, and 1 industrial designer. The semester long project tasked us with creating a NASA inspired concept and hotel. It included branding, renderings of the exterior and interior of the hotel, a UX/UI component, and a mobile learning unit.
Presented multiple iterations of the project throughout the semester to NASA employees and other design professionals.
Personal Takeaways: The importance of presentation, understanding that presentation of a design is just as, if not more important than the design itself. Even the best designs don't get off the ground if they are presented poorly. Another takeaway is the importance of collaboration and teamwork and being able to come together as a team and compromise for a greater and more cohesive delivery.

THE PRISON INDUSTRIAL COMPLEX AND MASS INCARCERATION
Dashboard created to help bring awareness to and educate people on the topic of the prison industrial complex and mass incarceration in the United States. Mass incarceration is a topic that most Americans are aware of, but don't necessarily understand the scale of. I wanted to use bar graphs to visually communicate the drastic increase in the prison population over the years and include an explanation of why that happened.
This dashboard is intended to be used as a display on a computer screen or a large interactive screen for an exhibit about civil rights in the United States. Not intended for mobile or to be a live website.

Mobile website created for Used 2 Be, a brand that reuses old clothing to make new clothing by sewing parts of different clothing together in a patchwork style. Mobile site intended for shopping, learning about the brand, and more.
